Antonio Race was born in a small town on the coast, north of Naples, called Miliscola.
Antonio's father, Giuseppe was a fisherman, from a long line of fishermen, and farmer all his life. His mother, Assunta, is a 'traditional' housewife. Assunta was blessed with a great gift for culinary arts. Giuseppe and Assunta have five beautiful children (not so young today): Salvatore, Vincenzo, Antonio, Filippo, and Mara. All the children possess a fondness for cuisine and Antonio chose to pursue this passion as his livelihood.
Antonio learned from an early age about the joys of culinary expression. His ancestors have been suppliers of fresh sea food for generations. For centuries, the family has grown their own produce, made their own wines, breads, and gourmet cuisine.
